The beautiful, half-ruined nature of Dunglass Church makes it the most romantic place to get married. Our 15th century Gothic chapel is set within the heart of the Estate and is a stunning example of its period and design.
Cared for by Historic Scotland, Dunglass Church offers unique flexibility with creative décor and our authentic, recently-acquired church pews. The seller of the pews said:
“The pews came from Freuchie United Free Church built in 1868 and came to Corstorphine along with the organ in the mid 1950’s shortly before the former closed.”
The fine Gothic window arches have been opened out over the years, allowing light to flood into the building, creating the perfect blank canvas: imagine petals on the floor, fabrics, flowers and foliage suspended and draped – couples have an unusual level of freedom to decorate and enhance the church to suit their style.
Dramatic, romantic and unlike any other venue, Dunglass Church is a place where dreams are fulfilled and memories made.
