Located on the site of the original mansion house, Dunglass House was built in the mid twentieth century and is an excellent example of the design of this era. It has been lovingly modernised over the years and is now a luxurious haven for Estate guests. This warm, welcoming villa is deceptively spacious and can accommodate up to ten in style and comfort.
A fabulous, sweeping staircase and stunning oak parquet floored hall immediately give a warm sense of grandeur – it’s a period house but with all the contemporary comforts you want for a weekend away (including WiFi, iPod dock, TV/DVD). Beautifully furnished and built with real craftsmanship, this is a house in which you’ll feel instantly at home.
Accommodation is made up of five double rooms. The master bedroom offers ensuite facilities and there is also a family bathroom and two contemporary shower rooms, luxury bed linen and soft white fluffy towels are provided.
Dunglass House boasts a fully equipped kitchen, an impressive drawing room with fireplace and traditional piano opening out into a stylish dining space and a spacious, wonderfully light conservatory – a lovely place to relax with family and friends.
Outside there are of course the magnificent gardens and grounds of the Estate; the house also has its own terrace with BBQ – heaven in the summer – and in chillier times there’s a wood-burning stove to keep everyone cosy.
